GENERAL SHIPPING

Porvata ships all desks under 60", chairs, and accessories via FedEx Ground.

Orders for desks greater than 60", pedestals, credenzas, and multi-desk orders must be palletized and shipped via FedEx LTL (Less-than-truckload).

CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES SHIPPING

Currently, Porvata ships to the contiguous United States (all states except for Alaska and Hawaii). At this time, we do not ship internationally.

OPTIONS FOR HOME DELIVERY

Porvata ships all desks under 60", chairs, and accessories via FedEx Ground.

For desks greater than 60", pedestals, credenzas, and multi-desk orders, there are two types of delivery options: curbside delivery or inside delivery. The majority of our deliveries are curbside deliveries. The FedEx driver will deliver the pallet outside of your house and depart from there. You are then responsible for bringing the item inside.

If you would like us to arrange inside delivery, we are able to arrange this for you at the time of purchase. We will pass through the cost (which is typically significantly higher than a standard delivery fee) and upgrade the delivery. With inside delivery the driver(s) will carry the item inside your home. Additional or extraordinary delivery requirements (multi-level buildings, etc.) may incur additional delivery charges.

INSPECTING A SHIPMENT FOR DAMAGE

While we do our best to ensure your items arrive safely, we cannot guarantee it. Therefore we ask all of our customers to carefully inspect items for damage before signing for it. Inspect the box for obvious damage first, and if able, try and inspect the inside for any concealed damage. We will replace damage items, but it is much easier for us to file a claim with FedEx if you refuse the shipment.

When we ship your order via FedEx's freight service, you will receive an email from us with tracking, as well as an email from FedEx. Prior to delivery, a member from FedEx's team typically will reach out to you to schedule a delivery window.

FAQ

1. How long does my curved desk top take to ship?

We make each custom ergonomic curved desk top to order. The process typically takes us 3-4 business days. Once we have made and packed your product, we ship it out from our Ohio facility. Depending on where you are located, shipping takes between 2-5 additional business days.

2. What are the curved desk tops made out of?

Unless otherwise stated, our custom desk tops are made from particleboard with thermally fused laminate panels.

3. Will my top be smooth even if it looks textured?

Yes! Because our tops are made from thermally fused laminate, all tops (including those that look textured in our images) are smooth to the touch.

4. Can I drill my own legs into a custom desk top?

A lot of customers use our tops to replace old tops on an existing set of height adjustable or fixed legs. Our laminate is easy to drill into and wood screws work well. Please remember that our desk tops are 1” thick so do not use screws longer than ¾”.

5. Can I order a top that is more custom than this?

Yes! We have the capability to do custom cut-outs, radius corners, more specific sizes, and more. While we can’t promise that we can do everything, we will do our best to make something to your specifications. Contact us directly for more information.

6. Can I see a sample of your finishes before I place the full order?

Yes! We encourage customers to purchase our sample finishes before placing a full order. If you decide to order after seeing our samples in person, we will refund your sample order completely.
