8 Points of Ergonomic Adjustment
At Porvata, we strive to educate our customers to allow them to get the most out of our, or our competitor's products. Whether you are tweaking your chair to sit at an automatic adjustable desk or a new office desktop, see our 8 Points of Ergonomic Adjustment video below and never look at a chair the same again!
Height Adjustment:
Using the lever on the right side of your chair, adjust your seat cushion to the correct height. Your should maintain an arm angle between 70 degrees and 135 degrees for optimal posture and support throughout the day.
Tilt Lock:
Pull the left knob out and twist forward to unlock tilt lock functionality. Choose between 5 different locking positions - from upright to lounge mode - and work the way you want!
Seat Slider:
Slide your seat forward or backward using the lever on the left side of your chair. The seat is properly positioned when you can fit between two and four fingers between the back of your knee and the seat cushion. This helps maximize blood flow throughout the day while enabling the seat and lumbar support's functionality.
Tilt Tension:
Pull on the knob on the right side of your seat cushion. Twist the knob forward to increase tilt tension, making it harder for you to lean back in your chair, and backward to release tension.
Armrest Height:
Use the tab on the outside of each armrest to adjust height.
Armrest Pivot:
Twist armrest inward to provide support for your forearms while typing.
Armrest Position:
Slide armrests forward or backward to maximize comfort.
Lumbar Support:
Slide the lumbar support bar up or down to fit your posture.
